I've driven and walked by this place a million times but never went inside. My friend wanted to get pasta the other night so we went on a Sunday and there were a handful of people there. It definitely skews to an older crowd, and it's old school, think dark interior and a plate of fake desserts as the menu. It is more expensive than I think it should be, but the staff is friendly, the service is a bit slow but nothing bad. I did really enjoy the American Italian flare. For me it gave the nostalgia of going to Little Maggianos but family owned. The garlic bread is $6, which is kind of expensive, and the pasta with the added shrimp was about $30? It's not bad but pricier than what I'm used to. The wine was drinkable, the Chianti should've been served a bit colder but at least it wasn't hot and nothing memorable. It's definitely craveable food, it's not necessarily super special but if you're craving elevated American Italian, I would recommend this place.

Wonderful food. Amazing service and such a lovely atmosphere. I wish I had know peas were an option.

We visited Baltimore and stayed in Little Italy so of course we wanted authentic Italian experience. We walked passed this little gem kind of early on a Saturday and couldn't resist. We had the whole place to ourselves selves for a while. We were immediately created by David who was also our server and he was excellent! Our late lunch /early dinner was absolutely delicious! From the garlic bread to the lobster ravioli (appetizer-not photo'd). To our entrees of the Mediterrana and I forget the mussels marinara dish but my husband said it was excellent! We ended dinner with the lemoncillo (I know that's spelled wrong) cake and espresso. It was such an awesome experience. Quiet lovely spot and amazing food!!!! I definitely recommend for a date night or cozy lunch!

I love these independent restaurants and this one had a classic Italian ambiance. This was the perfect place to try some Italian food while in Baltimore for a couple days. It's in the little Italy section near the inner harbor. The service was perfect from the hostess to the waiter. They all knew when to show up without being in the way. I chose the Mediterranea dish which consisted of jumbo shrimp and scallops sautéed with mushrooms in a marsala wine sauce served over linguine slightly lacking in spices for my palate, but very good and went well with chardonnay. For dessert the baileys, chocolate infused cannoli was very tasty. Get coffee with it for the final touch. Really enjoyed this place.

Great Italian spot for dinner in the heart of Little Italy of Baltimore. They will make what you want to order. The vodka sauce was speculated. The Marsala sauce is equal. Their seafoods and pastas are cooked to perfection. Love their salads and their desserts. The pistachio cake is heavenly. Service fantastic and knowledgeable of the menu. Ambiance of the space is par excellence for Italian cuisine. Nice wine selection. Liked the Malbec by the glass. Dalesio's has the missing ingredient of so many restaurants today. LOVE! They obviously love what they do and have a great chef and great staff. Highly recommend Dalesios as a Philly food snob! :)

We came here on our last night in Baltimore and it was great. The owners were actually there and were very polite, along with the wait staff. We started with calamari fritti and it was so good and definitely should be on your list to try. The lasagna was excellent. It was so meaty and saucy that we ordered garlic bread so I wouldn't leave a drop of it. I did not expect the broccoli to come with it but it was steamed very well. The Vitello bolognese was delicious as well. I mean everything we ordered was excellent and so good. I'm ready to head back to Baltimore to taste more.

We are in Baltimore for a conference and have been searching for good food and decent service for days. It seems we've been stuck in tourist trap and have been extremely disappointed. We decided to try Little Italy and Yelped what had good reviews. This looked favorable- we struck gold! We loved the old vintage vibe. The ambiance was quaint and lovely with beautiful antiques and nice music. The menu had lots of choices but not overwhelming. We were thrilled with our orders- crap and shrimp pasta, lasagna, ceaser salad- everything delicious. Not only that- our Server David offered excellent customer service, was personable, funny and very nice. We were so happy with our decision to stop in here and would do so again. Great experience! Thank you!

This was recommended as THE restaurant to go to in Baltimore by a family member who used to live here. Came on a weekday evening shortly after 7pm and was seated immediately. The ambiance was calm. The service was warm and efficient. Our server, Alex, was approachable and helpful. We enjoyed multiple dishes: - Complimentary bread basket - Arugula salad: fresh veggie tossed with olive oil - Daily salmon special: this was recommended by our family, so I got it. It included a Pacific salmon fillet on a bed of pasta with vegetables. The salmon was super fresh and delicious! - Mediterranea: linguine pasta with a creamy sauce and shrimps, scallops, and mushrooms. It was absolutely delicious and was my favorite entree. The seafood was also very fresh. - Pistachio cake: it was a decadent yet light dessert that was amazing. It included a layer of pistachio, mousse, and sponge cake. Overall, highly recommend this restaurant. Would get the Mediterranea and pistachio cake again. Read good reviews of the lemon cake, and would try it next time.

A couple friends and I tried to get dinner across the street and experienced some of the worst customer service we've ever encountered. So we showed up here about an hour and a half before closing famished. You wouldn't have known it was close to closing because we were greeted like we were the first diners for the day. In fact, we were treated so well, we forgot about the other experience quickly. Seemed like a light night so the food and drinks came out fast. I had the House Salad and the Penne Alla Piemontese with shrimp. While it was okay, the care and attention we received saved the day. We appreciated how we felt and would likely return just for that feeling!
